Wouldn’t it be great if someone could teach you all the skills you need to ski or snowboard for free. A lot of people try to work out how to ski or snowboard for themselves on the ski slopes, sometimes due to cost, ignorance of the risks, or down to thinking they can. Sometimes you can get away with it, but even if you can ski or snowboard, I have found that it really helps to get a little bit of help to understand what you are doing wrong and how to improve.
If you are a beginner, whilst the kids are in ski school, why not get a spot of tuition yourself so that you can be as good or better than your children. There’s nothing worse than not being able to keep up with your kids on the piste! I am having to ditch my snowboard for skis because otherwise there’s no way I can keep up with my teen daughters.
If you are skiing with friends, you could make the most of the shared experience of learning together.
